COVID Safety Guidelines

Welcome Back!

Dear Valued Guests-

We are excited to welcome you back to Royal Cinemas & IMAX.  Please take a few moments to read the information below so you are familiar with the recent changes to our operations.

Safety First:

It is mandatory for all patrons entering building wear a mask. If you do not have one, we are selling them at the concession for $1. All staff is issued face mask, and are required to wear them at all times.

Temperature Check:

Upon entering the building, all patrons will be screened mandatory with a touchless temperature check thermometer. All theater associates are screened before each shift. This screening includes a temperature check, symptoms check, and questionnaire regarding exposure to anyone who has shown symptoms.

Ticket Purchasing Experience:

We recommend that everyone purchase tickets through our website (RoyalCinemasPooler.com) to reduce touchpoints. However, you can also purchase tickets in person at the concession. Our kiosks and box office are currently unavailable for ticket purchasing. Base price for all tickets is $5.

In-Theater Experience (Seating):

Most aspects of auditoriums are designed in a way that is already more spaced out than other movie theater auditoriums. The distance between rows exceeds six feet from recliner to recliner. All other seats have spacing of a minimum of two seats between all parties, which occurs automatically when purchasing tickets. We will also occupy no greater than 50% of our overall capacity at any time.

In-Theater Experience (Service):

We are currently using single-use products, and will accept debit/credit cards and gift cards as forms of payment. Cash will be accepted at this time.

In-Theater Experience (Sanitation):

Before and after every feature, all tables, chairs, armrests, handrails, door handles and cup holders are cleaned and sanitized. These items are verified by management prior to seating the next feature. Our staff is trained to practice a high level of hygiene & sanitation at all times.

Overall Theater Sanitation:

Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of any touched surfaces, such as door handles, tables, chairs, and restrooms occur throughout the facility. Doors are propped open where possible to provide easy and touchless access. Hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, soap and water, or similar disinfectant are readily available to associates and guests. As an added measure, all HVAC filters have been upgraded to a Hospital-Grade filter to improve overall air quality.
